The Intelix Series USB3.2 Gen 1 Extender Client is the remote (client-side) endpoint of a high-performanceUSB extension solution designed to carry USB 3.2 Gen 1 signals over HDBaseT infrastructure. Built formodern AV and IT environments, it enables reliable USB connectivity at distance—ideal for conference rooms,classrooms, control rooms, and shared collaboration spaces where computers and USB peripherals can’t beco-located.

Acting as the remote endpoint in an HDBaseT-basedextension system, this client unit delivers a simple, user-friendly interface with multiple USB connectionoptions—two USB-A ports for common peripherals and a USB-C port for newer devices—making it a flexiblechoice for evolving room standards.

Designed to maintain performance for demanding USB workflows, the extender supports USB 3.2 Gen 1bandwidth (up to 5Gbps) while also remaining compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. This allowsorganizations to support a broad range of peripherals—from keyboards, mice, and touch interfaces tohigh-throughput devices such as USB cameras, audio interfaces, and storage. It also supports common USBtransfer modes, including isochronous traffic (often used by real-time audio/video devices) and bulk transfer(for large data movement), helping ensure compatibility across typical collaboration and productionapplications.

For real-world deployments, the Intelix client extender is optimized for long-distance runs using structuredcabling already common in AV and IT builds. When U/FTP Cat6A (or better) is used, extension distances up to100 meters are supported, enabling clean room designs and centralized equipment strategies. Plug-and-playoperation minimizes configuration time and simplifies support, while RS-232 passthrough provides a pathwayfor control integration when needed. Additionally, bidirectional 24V Power over Cable (PoC) can reduce theneed for local power at the endpoint in certain system designs, helping streamline installations and reduceoutlet dependency behind displays or under tables.

Included USB cables (A-to-A and C-to-A, both 2 meters) accelerate deployment and ensure immediateconnectivity for common host/peripheral combinations.
