By leveraging HDBaseT transport over structured cabling, this wallplate solution helps integrators provide dependable USB access at a lectern, display wall, conference tablelocation, or teaching station—without the distance limitations of standard USB cabling.

Built to support modern peripherals and evolving room standards, the wall plate offers a versatile port mixwith two USB-A connections for common devices and a USB-C port for newer accessories. With support forUSB 3.2 Gen 1 bandwidth up to 5Gbps, the unit is well suited for bandwidth-intensive peripherals such as USBcameras, audio interfaces, touch controllers, and storage devices, while still maintaining compatibility withUSB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices for maximum deployment flexibility.

To ensure broad real-world compatibility, the extender supports multiple USB transfer types, includingisochronous traffic often used for real-time audio/video devices, as well as bulk transfer for reliable datamovement. For installations requiring longer cable runs, the extender supports distances up to 100 meterswhen U/FTP Cat6A (or better) cabling is used, allowing centralized equipment strategies in enterprise,education, and hospitality environments.
