Description

AVPro Edge's AC-EX70-UHD-BKT is a simplified HDMI extender kit designed exclusively for basic point‑to‑point HDMI extension. It is not intended for use as a transmitter or receiver for matrix switch applications. Using HDBaseT technology, the AC‑EX70‑UHD‑BKT can extend 1080p HDMI signals up to 70 meters and 4K HDMI signals up to 40 meters over cost‑effective CAT‑6A cabling. Straightforward to install and operate, this kit performs best with SDR video signals and is ideal for simple, budget‑friendly AV setups.

Benefits

• Use Only as a Kit: These units are engineered to work strictly as a paired kit and cannot be substituted as standalone transmitter or receiver components in matrix switch systems.
• Extend 4K HDMI Over Category Cable: HDMI cables cannot be remade or reliably extended beyond short lengths. CAT‑6A cabling solves these limitations by offering easy termination, flexible routing, and long‑distance transport. With this kit, 1080p signals reach up to 70 meters (230 ft), while 4K signals reach 40 meters (115 ft).
  
  Control: Bi‑directional IR and RS‑232 allow command routing between source and display devices.
  
  Power: PoH (Power over HDBaseT) enables either device (TX or RX) to power the other, ideal for locations with limited access to AC outlets.
• Limitations: The AC‑EX70‑UHD‑BKT is AVPro Edge’s most basic HDMI extender. It does not support Ethernet, ARC/eARC, USB, audio extraction, I‑PASS IR, or extended 4K distances. For advanced features, consider higher‑tier extender models.
