The AC-MXNET-1G-EV2 represents the next major advancement in the MXnet Platform—an industry-first, fully unified AV-over-IP ecosystem engineered entirely by AVPro Edge. As part of this tightly integrated system, MXnet encoders, decoders, and managed switches work together seamlessly under centralized control through MXnet Mentor, AVPro Edge’s in-house configuration and management interface.

This Evolution II encoder incorporates a next-generation ASIC designed to deliver superior software-based encoding efficiency, enabling pristine 4K video distribution with exceptional reliability, low latency, and advanced processing capabilities that set a new standard for performance in network-based AV systems.

• Native 4K/60fps Support: Distributes 4K/60fps 4:4:4 content in YCbCr or RGB with 8-, 10-, or 12‑bit color depth. Supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision. JPEG 2000 compression preserves exceptional visual fidelity with near lossless performance.
• JPEG 2000 Compression: Provides visually lossless quality with ultra‑low end‑to‑end latency (less than a single frame). Multiple I/O connections including RS‑232, USB, and IR enable flexible integration and device control.
• Source Previews: All Evolution II encoders generate low‑bandwidth preview streams, viewable in MXnet Mentor or integrator UIs, enabling quick identification of connected sources.
• Low Latency Distribution: Standard mode delivers approximately 1 frame (≈16ms) of latency at 60Hz. Ultra‑Low Latency Mode (ULLM) reduces this to under 4ms—ideal for IMAG, corporate live events, and interactive applications.
• High Bitrate Multi‑Channel Audio: Supports up to 8 channels of high‑quality bitstream audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
• USB &KVM: Extends USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, webcams, IMAG devices) across the network, enabling scalable IP‑based KVM workflows.
• Control Signal Routing: Equipped with RS‑232 and IR I/O. Using the MXnet API, the encoder enables passthrough control for third‑party devices such as displays, sources, amplifiers, projectors, or automation systems.
