AVPro MXnet 1G Encoder
MXnet 1G Encoder
Features
- HDMI 2.0
- HDCP 2.3
- 4K/30 fps, 4:4:4
- USB and KVM Support
Description
All signals begin their journey through an MXnet system when entering the AC-MXNET-1G-E Encoder. Once connected—whether HDMI, analog audio, RS‑232/IR control, or USB/KVM signals—each becomes encoded into multicast data ready for routing to any MXnet decoder. MXnet 1G systems can transport content across rooms or even locations, interfacing with MXnet switches using CAT5e+ wiring, fiber, or hybrid networks.
As a core component of the MXnet 1G ecosystem, the AC‑MXNET‑1G‑E is built in‑house alongside AVPro Edge’s switches and CBOX controllers which host the MXnet MENTOR management platform. Supporting HDMI up to 4K/30 4:4:4, the encoder packages A/V signals with Power over Ethernet and control data for near‑zero latency distribution. MXnet MENTOR adds scaling, EDID/HDCP management, and video wall configuration tools.
Benefits
- Proprietary JPEG2000‑based CODEC: Designed to maximize image fidelity for 1G AV‑over‑IP, ensuring visually lossless results without misleading bitrate claims.
- GENLOCK Support: Ensures synchronized playback across multiple displays—critical for video walls.
- Data Window: Built‑in OLED provides IP/MAC visibility and customizable device names for easy identification.
- External Illumination Control: Disable LEDs and OLED for dark rooms; enable flashing mode for troubleshooting.
- Control Signal Routing: RS‑232 and IR can be passed through encoders, routed in MENTOR, and delivered to decoders.
- USB & KVM: USB‑B host connection enables keyboard/mouse routing to any designated decoder.
- Netgear Support: Netgear’s AVPro Edge Profile ensures seamless switch compatibility.
