Description

The AC-EX70-444-KIT was one of the first HDMI-over-HDBaseT extension kits capable of transporting full 4K/60fps 4:4:4 signals. Using AVPro Edge’s proprietary Invisible Compression Technology (ICT), the extender preserves HDR10 and dynamic metadata formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG while maintaining pixel-perfect fidelity across CAT6A cabling at 18Gbps. Unlike solutions that rely on compression algorithms intended for lower-bandwidth applications—which often cause banding, color shifts, and motion artifacts—the AC-EX70-444-KIT ensures an artifact-free, color-accurate reproduction of the original signal.

The extender includes advanced features such as full EDID management, 4K-to-1080p downscaling for mixed-resolution systems, bidirectional IR and RS-232 control, dual 10/100 Ethernet ports for LAN extension, onboard 1080p/4K test pattern generation, and 2-channel PCM audio extraction. The system is engineered for high-performance distribution while maintaining a compact profile, making installation easy even in space-constrained environments.

  • Cascade Mode: Daisy-chain two AC-EX70-444-KIT units to extend HDMI transmission even further. Bidirectional PoH supplies power throughout the chain, reducing the need for mid-run power supplies.
